why the FUCK don't cars have anti-reflective coating on their glass, I'm sick of being blinded for half an hour every day by the entire sun's photon output being reflected off one specific car parked opposite directly into my eyes

Y'know this is a question I've had to ask a fair deal lately during driving practice on nice, sunny days, where logically speaking the last thing anyone should want drivers to have to endure is, I dunno, not being able to see where the hell they're going, or being made to shut their eyes because not only are the CARS too bright, the PAVEMENT is too bright, and sunglasses don't fix the problem because they make the dashboard too DARK.
I straight-up wouldn't be able to drive for exactly this reason, I get blinded when I'm in the passenger seat constantly. If it's just rained and the sun's coming out, I just close my eyes and accept the fact I'm not going to see anything on this journey
I can drive but after a half-hour or so it starts hurting my eyes. Toward the end of one of my more recent trips it was bad enough that the last light I got to, mercifully red for a prolonged period of time, saw me spending most of the stop with my eyes unable to open because I just could not look at that much pavement, that many cars,
aaaagh
