decided to finally make the jump to learning how to use the cool lil' tilebased 3D program Crocotile 3D, and as i hoped, this program's Tileset-based approach to 3D modeling works way better for my brain to wrap itself around than something like blender..
followed a nice little guide on the site of the program that runs you through all the steps to create a cute little waterfall scene, which was very fun and went surprisingly smoothly to figure out..
then, using that knowledge, i tried to recreate a little house/scene from pokemon ruby/sapphire, using textures straight from the tilesets, with some modifications, and it felt really nice to be able to just.. generate a whole 3D space like that... i wanna work my way up to using this stuffs in gamedev projects, too, somehow
technology really is incredible, thank's for reading
