my hands yearn to play a new metroid but there's only like 1 indie game that plays like metroid and its a fucking roguelike (A Robot Named Fight) so im just like, pensivemetroidemoji
"just play one of many metroid hacks lily?" the problem is that ive played all the ones that interest me already
for what it's worth I felt like arnf was one of the better roguelikes i played on account of doing stuff like actually allowing health farming and always having rooms that give you extra lives (well, after the first run at least) instead of just throwing you to the wolves on repeat
i certainly have gotten all I felt like out of it at this point myself too though
i started playing Pseudoregalia tonight and oh lordddddd i want a wall jump so bad. that game is teeming with walls begging to get jumped off. (maybe it comes in later IDK i'm not worried but i hope it does)
pseudoregalia isnt the kind of game im looking for but it IS a cool game that lets you do Sickos Type Movement so enjoy!!!
