more like the first one. I was imagining him being powered on and standing up, maybe after a long time of inactivity so a lot of dirt/dust has built up on him. There was no time to properly clean it all off (or maybe nobody to do so) and have a safe startup. He had to get upright fast for one reason or another. I'm imagining some of the wires on the back of his head are about to rip.
