Next year I will become a TRUE rice farmer because we harvested enough rice seeds from the pack of rice I grew. I got 40 seeds and EVERY SINGLE ONE GREW. I never had such a smashing success with a plant. I think it was funny because people around me had started early and all their plants didn't make it while I started two weeks late and direct sowing with 100% success with EACH PLANT. The right is the Shintokiwa cucumber at max growth.
I think next year I will grow 16 adzuki plants and 16-20 shiromame plants for wagashi making. My 4 adzuki beans plants only made enough to replant for next year.
