Throw-sized crazy quilt. Maybe 40x60? My first major FMQ attempt. It's made of dresses, skirts, t-shirts, ties, coaster rejects, "tumbling blocks" sample attempts, and many other kinds of scraps. Lots of memories in this bitch.
These pictures are from right after I finished it a few days ago. I will post nicer pictures of it later. More comments under the readmore.
Like I said, I took these pictures before I washed it & buried the threads. There are some Press n Sew scraps stuck to some areas in the quilt top in these pictures...sorry.. I did a lot of different techniques, including hand-sewing and using pre-planned iron-on stuff, but ultimately opted for improvisational FMQ for the majority of the quilt. Most of it isn't even that awful.
I have a vintage Emdeko that does not have speed controls, so I had to fold a thick piece of cardboard to put under the pedal to try and keep the top speed consistent. It didn't not work. But it also didn't work.
The back of this quilt is a rainbow fleece blanket with a giant fucking tropical flower on it.
