This is the soup I made last year, but I DO make tomato soup from scratch. I would make cheese from scratch if my house wasn't so crowded. My family DOES grow onions and other plants off-site in a communal garden setting. I also grow kabocha and make my own pumpkin puree from scratch.
We have these PRODUCTIVE volunteer raspberries that "hopped the fence" and reproduce plants every year. This year I used them to make raspberry jam and raspberry orange cake (both not pictured). Next year, I will try to make raspberry wine. Raspberries are self-producing, so you only need one plant. I am still a blueberry and strawberry fan.
The last picture is an Olive Oil Cake with Orange and Raspberry. If you have an Asian mother that likes things "not too sweet," this was a hit with my mother who had that taste in sweets.
