the energy i am putting out into the universe tonight is: someone please make a Griddlehark animatic music video for the song Empty Threat by CHVRCHES

Taking back an empty threat
More than you could ever know
Take it back with no regrets
I was better off when I was on your side
And I was holding on

To try and not forget
Hoping that you never know
Take it back with no regrets
I was better off when I was on your side
And I was holding on

also im just inevitably hearing every song on my play list as Locked Tomb adjacent, now. $20 by boygenius? obviously about Nona and her school friends ("In another life we were arsonists"). Buzzcut Season by Lorde? Oh shit its about Harrow's "memories" of Canaan House ("Where nothing's wrong and nothing's true/I live in a hologram with you") and the Saint of Duty's, uh, hair ("I remember when your head caught flame"). Crumbs by Rebecca Black (yes that Rebecca Black; she is queer and amazing and wears straight up fetishwear in this music video)? Thats some toxic Griddlehark shit if i have ever heard it ("At your worst your still my best/In my body out of my head/In my ribs and under my chest")
ok thank u for your time

i finally finished my Gideon reread, and at the end of the paperback edition there is a cheeky little pronunciation guide for the names. When I first read it I was pretty confident in how Palamedes was pronounced, but then my friend named one of her cats Palamedes and she said it completely differently (same as Archimedes). Somehow she convinced me that this was correct and I had been saying it wrong but SURPRISE I WAS RIGHT. Idk I just think "Pal-AM-a-dees" is more melifluous than "Pal-a-MEED-ees" and Tamsyn Muir agrees w me
