Blossom

I've been feeling pretty strong today. did a bunch of stuff around the house and in the gardens. cleaned out the dried plant matter and weeds from the raised beds and added some soil to even them out. the strawberries and mints are looking pretty good. the strawberries in my mom's garden are starting to really bloom now, and the currants are already starting to develop fruit.

there's also a recording of some birdsongs. it's a bunch of blackbirds mixed with various other birds, they sounded beautiful in person.

I thought the pollen on the pansies made them look like little starry velvet skies.

another incredibly beautiful day. the apple trees are almost all in bloom now.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this little guy, I've grown morning glory in the past but they've all been white and blue and this one is so cool and it's the first time in y e a r s and AAAAA it's so pretty? Typically I'm not a fan of purple but this is <<<<<3333

The flower was starting to wilt but I just love the colors in this picture and how you can tell it was really nice outside when I took it.

Wikipedia doesn’t have much to say about these little guys except the common name is Redstem Stork’s-bill. It likes sandy soil which makes sense to me since I’ve only seen it in New Jersey but it’s invasive and all over North America.
