I'm absolutely obsessed with this little guy, I've grown morning glory in the past but they've all been white and blue and this one is so cool and it's the first time in y e a r s and AAAAA it's so pretty? Typically I'm not a fan of purple but this is <<<<<3333
The flower was starting to wilt but I just love the colors in this picture and how you can tell it was really nice outside when I took it.
Wikipedia doesn’t have much to say about these little guys except the common name is Redstem Stork’s-bill. It likes sandy soil which makes sense to me since I’ve only seen it in New Jersey but it’s invasive and all over North America.

despite being a trip to see flowers, they ended up being what I have the fewest photos of. Flowers weren't as excessive as they normally are, probably has something to do with the bizzaro weather this year + the overcastyness. Bluebonnets are still in bloom tho - hopefully more next year!
