busy busy busy these days but I'm still squeezing in some procreate drawings

I knew March and April were going to be a lot but honestly, staring down the barrel of May, it looks like I may have at least several more weeks of living inside a very active ping pong ball

there was lots to see so here are lots of pics.

columbine flowers from below

young curled up leaves of a fern

Indian pokeweed immature inflorescence among leaves

flowering stems of bistort a.k.a. snakeroot, they are pink club-shaped spike inflorescences with many individual flowers. the ones in this picture haven't opened yet.

flower buds of rhododendron seen from above, with some of the purple petals starting to show

my one tomato plant who survived the recent frost mostly intact, still not looking great but maybe the nicer weather can fix her. also, lettuces are doing well:

there are a lot of tiny critters in the greenhouse. these are just some of them. there are also many ants and antlion larvae (well, I only see the inverted cone shaped pits they make but they actually look like antlion pits right out of a cartoon, not sure if other critters make traps like that).

a woodlouse and a firebug having a brief rendez-vous in my greenhouse

the frostbitten tomatoes are trying their best and most of them are making tiny new sprouts at the base. I hope we won't get another severe frost, but for now there's hope I guess.
