I wanted to get back into records. I have a pretty big collection, and I'd like to listen to more of them

The issue is that my record player is kinda old and shitty and bad. It plays everything at slightly the incorrect speed?? And there's no way to change the speed, at least that I can find. So I COULD listen to the Hypnospace Outlaw soundtrack at like 93% speed! But I hate it!

I need to get a new one. Now I've never actually had to buy my own turntable, and I dunno what to look for or what to get. I'm not an audiophile, I don't care about the Crispest Best Shit Ever I'm prolly gonna pipe this through my capture card for streams and my own personal listening lol I don't need silver cables or whatever the fuck

My main concern is buying something that's so cheap and shitty it warps or damages my vinyl collection lol. Any suggestions, friends?

So if there's no adjustment on the top there SHOULD be a couple of potentiometers on the bottom with screwheads to adjust them.

I've only got direct experience with vintage gear personally but I've been told the Audio Technica lp60 is solid

I got a Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB several years ago and it's perfect for me. It's adjustable, has some neat features and doesn't look too "designy", but actually has a nice hi-fi look. It sounds good too and I've had no issues with speed or anything at all, and if I did I could easily adjust it.
