What is the oldest video with a still living creature in it
Sometimes I think of weird shit like this and it just makes me curious. Wish I had an All Knowing Google that I could just ask dumb questions like this.

Do we count trees as living creatures? If so then it's probably a video with a tree in it.
I thought about that, which is why I worded it "creature". I don't really think I'd define trees as "creatures", but that's a personal thing =w=
I would say it's probably "The Horse in Motion" from 1878, usually considered the first video, and also a video with a still living horse as its subject.
I realise too late that you might have meant videos of creatures who are still alive today, but the video is very old. I think that's a lot harder to say for sure, in part because the answer is always changing.
In that case, tho', I'd say the creature in question would probably have to be a human, and the video would have to be some kind of documentary film from the 1930's or 1940's. The true answer to that question is probably sad, in other words.
It could also be an early documentary film about a tortoise, or something like that. Hard to say, really.
I think Trees and mushrooms count as creatures so there's probably some footage of a tree or that big mushroom place from like 100 years. If you're going to say non-tree/etc then there's probably some footage of a turtle from 100 years ago that's still alive
