I love how The Gatherer, the official website where you can look up any Magic the Gathering card, has a community rating system, but it literally has not worked for OVER TEN YEARS. It just broke one day, and they have never fixed it.
But they haven't like, removed the system. It's still sitting there. You can see the ratings and comments of old cards, but nothing released in the past 10 years.
Huh? But we already implemented that feature. What is this "maintenance" you speak of?
Is Storm Crow still the highest rated? And is ALL HAIL THE GREAT LORD EGOTIST still a meme?
comments Just Broke one day too, but they're all still there. it's honestly a kind of fascinating window into how people thought about the game ten years ago.
I enjoy reading the comments and actually just assumed that the community died some time in 2012 or so. It's a bummer that there are no comments on recent cards
