You might have noticed I've been a little quieter than usual, well this game is like obscenely enjoyable, suppose I should post about it.
So my overall in-game design philosophy is;
- Work around the environment ( ie: limit cutting down trees unnecessarily )
- All machines should be accessible in a reasonable manner
- Everything should make sense, buildings and walkways should have supports.
- Signage should be present where it would be in real life
- Individual facilities should have unique color pallets
I could go on but that's a pretty solid foundation (no pun intended)
That being said, here's my core base (rebuild v3.5)
The front of the building that produces all the early game parts.
This bit contains the Hub, and assorted early game buildings, further down in the same block are several Sinks, one as a personal disposal and the others to handle overflow from the manufactory.

SUPER ADDICTIVE GAME! I've been on a gaming hiatus most of this year in an effort to focus on finishing a story I'm writing, but I DEFINITELY plan to sink tons of time into Satisfactory again when I'm done. I can't wait to check out the updates since the last time I played (which was like... gosh, a year and a half ago now?)
Looks like a fantastic build!
