This past week was a bit of a mixed bag. First half went pretty well, latter half... well, I was in a bit of a funk for a couple days, and really went downhill fast over the weekend. I was kinda grouchy, then just fell into deep depression, battling constant intrusive thoughts and struggling to sleep. Sorry if I came across unusually abrasive to anyone recently. At least I'm feeling a little better today. (Fingers crossed!)
On MHO matters, it definitely helps that I got to a part I've been eager to get to! I'm so excited to do stuff with Gleam. This is a concept I've been eager to explore ever since I first thought of it a while back. You don't see it used in stories much, or at least not from what I've seen. I'm gonna have a blast coming up with shenanigans and funny scenarios for it. Plus, hey, for once Lykou and Kuna are going to have a third traveling partner! (For a little bit, at least.) That in itself is something else I've toyed with for a while. There've been several occasions where I've been tempted to have one character or another join them, at least temporarily, on their journey, but never did for one reason or another. But in this case, I just can't resist. Again, it's not necessarily a permanent arrangement, but hey, the poor girl doesn't have anywhere else to go! So travel buddy time it is!
Other than MHO, I also started another smutty short story, hehe. This time with two other characters that'll be in the same setting as Brooke and Kael- in fact one of them mayyyy have kind of a friendly rivalry with Kael in the "eldritch being" department. :3c But yeah, expect that up sometime this week as well.
