Hello everyone! I'm Lloxie. I'm a furry writer, and I draw occasionally as well. And I dabble in coding now and then. Just a heads up, this IS technically an 18+ blog, even though I also have an AD profile where I post/share most of that kind of stuff. But do expect nsfw material to occasionally show up here as well. You can find links to my profiles elsewhere at the carrd link above, including my personal website if you want to know more about me. Or just feel free to ask me stuff!
if i can recommend my own thing, i made an upgraded version of all8 which is useful if you need to really know the bpm of something (say, for making rhythm game charts). also more websites with niche uses: webplotdigitizer helps extract data from images of graphs, voter helps with putting things in a ranked order, and quipqiup and nutrimatic are good for solving certain kinds of word puzzle!
i think you can actually "remix" it with the service i'm hosting it in - not properly open-source i know, but i have not yet properly worked out what the deal is with doing that (is github still fine or did everyone move somewhere else cause of the whole ai thing?). i might get something set up for that but i'm pretty busy with other things right now (also shouldn't you be as well? ;) )
regex101 is my regex tester of choice. it includes some features i didn't see in regexr, including support for tons of different regex variants, multi-color highlighting to break down the parts of each match and a debugger that lets you simulate the regex match one step at a time to see where it's matching or rejecting stuff. i almost never use the debugger, but when i get confused enough that i actually have to resort to it, i'm so glad it's there.
Anna's Archive is an insanely huge library of books for download. also mirrors Sci-Hub and SciDB for academic papers.
x6ud.github.io is a neat (but very niche) little tool for searching animal head photos by orientation. great for art reference material.
The all8 BPM tool! Lowkey lets me stim and also tap along to my favorite songs.
yeah i dont download playlists often and finding the codes to turn videos into music or video files is kinda tedious
remove.bg is a great simple website
you click the link
put the image
and it makes that shit transparent
you can do it manually within the website if it fucks it up
its extremely helpfull
ok il keep that im mind if remove.bg struggles with an image thank you :)
(feel free to ask for any of my goods or services sorry i cant be arsed to make examples but trust me i will put a lot of effort into em)
in general i use it mostly when editing a video so i do a lot of photos and shit at once
i gotta lotta good piracy shit if anyone wants it but its probably too much of an infodump
vimms lair is always good for finding old games for emulators
