Did some drawing practice over the weekend. Not much to post, since it was mostly just fast sloppy doodles. When I have enough of those, I might compile them into a single post though, heh. I did also work a little more on the ref pics for Lykou and Kuna. I want to get those done so I can commission a more skilled artist for a special pic for MHO sometime over the next couple months. Additionally, I am kind of inclined to either commission or attempt to draw a couple short comics of various scenes from the story sometime.
There's one sticking point though.... the feet! You may or may not have noticed I've kind of avoided mentioning their feet in the story. There's a couple reasons for that... besides the fact that I tend to just not think about that much. For one thing, I never did decide if they should be digitigrade or plantigrade. For two, especially if they're plantigrade, I'd have to decide what, if any footwear they'd be wearing. If you have any thoughts on this, please let me know!
Going to try and do some writing this evening. Next couple days are supposed to be rainy/stormy, which can lend itself well to creating a good writing atmosphere. Gonna try to crank out the next MHO chapter as well as work on some short story. I have one that's already started, but I've been stuck on it for a couple weeks now. Might post a list of my short story ideas later.
Speaking of which, though- most of my short story ideas take place in the same setting so far. Specifically, the city of Horizon Springs. And while it hasn't really been shown yet, the overall setting is actually slightly more futuristic/higher tech than the modern world, albeit variably so. Horizon Springs is actually a little behind some of the neighboring, even larger cities. On the bright side, it's also a bit less dystopian and run by corrupt politicians and megacorps. Another city will come up at some point, which will be the setting for a superhero-themed story series I plan to write at some point. A couple of those characters will probably cameo in the Horizon Springs stories at sometime.
But don' worry, my main focus is still MHO until it's done. And Horizon Springs stories will still mainly remain slice-of-life with some indulgent smut and occasional romance thrown in, hehe.
Back to the art subject, I'm still looking to get more commissions done. Long story short, I've gotten a little bit of money set aside for such things for once, and I've got a bunch of ideas. Including a bunch of, er.... nsfw stuff. o///o So yeah, keep an eye out for more art of yours truly (and my various OCs) in the coming months! xD
