...a day late edition! Yeah, sorry about that. It completely slipped my mind until I was about to go to bed and I was too tired (and... orbital. Teehee.) to write it then.
Went to my first real pride thing (I know, it took this long?! Well remember, I live in the deep south... >>;;) on Saturday. It was fun and I had a blast, even if I ended up mainly keeping to myself and just enjoying the art and music. And silly juice. Also visited a local art/artisan center that I haven't been to in a while and was reminded how much I love the place. Really need to visit there more often. I also walked the mall (yeah, we still have one!) and got myself a really near Sylveon metal art thing to hang on my wall at some point. :D
Other than that.... bluhhh, the heat suuuucks. Have I mentioned how much I hate summer? Temps have been in the 90s constantly these past few weeks, even touching 100 a few times. And that's with really high humidity for most of that time, too. The weather keeps taunting us with rain but rarely get any. And when we do, it's just enough to fuel more mugginess for the next day or so, without actually cooling anything down. x_X I hate iiiiit.
As far as writing goes, the next MHO chapter IS in the works. In fact with some luck, I'm hoping to finish and upload it within the next day or so. Need to get these dorks back on the road, so to speak!
And then as far as drawing goes, I've got a few WIPs that I keep hitting a wall with, but I'm slowly breaking it down. I've got the two still in-progress reference images for Lykou and Kuna, plus a pic of my character Wysq dancing at a rave, and finally a cute pic for my sqrl fren, Emi. I also have a whole list of other ideas I want to get to at some point. Trouble is, ADHD is a bitch. x.x; I keep getting distracted so easily. It's affecting my writing too. Intrusive thoughts certainly don't help. >.<; But eh, I'm fighting it...
I'd really like to be able to turn some of my short stories into comics. That might make for a fun challenge sometime. And if I could get good enough at drawing comics, I could make it a regular thing, which would be nice. Remains to be seen, though...
Finally, I'm still waiting on some commissions. Also still shopping around for the right artist(s) for a couple other things I wanna get made. I had a particular artist in mind for one of them, but they never seem to be open for full illustrations lately. >< Just bust shots and such. Weh. Ah well, I'll just have to look around.
Anyway, I guess that's it. Sorry again for the day delay this week! I tell ya, time needs to slow the frick down! :s
