Charlie and I have a Genre of movie that we like watching together that we lovingly and jokingly call "Time Traps" based on the title of the film "Time Trap". There's not any particularly Hard Set Rules on what determines if a film is a Time Trap (not every film with a time loop, for example), but based on the 8 films we've categorized as such, we can begin to reverse engineer some shared qualities.
1)All films involve Murder/Death
2)Most, but not all, involve Time Travel, Time Loops, or just general Time Weirdness
3)Most, if not all, are smaller, lower budget, independent films
4)All films just have a Vibe to them.
this is all I got so far, and it certainly isn't conclusive. however, my favorite fact is that the titular "Time Trap" isn't even the most Time Trapped movie, imo. it's like, the Average of the set.
