There's a new game Battlebit Remastered that just entered Early Access that is basically Battlefield with stylistically worse graphics meant to focus on gameplay and destruction. I really liked playing Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4 so I figured I try it out.
Everything was level capped going up to like Level 160 or something. Every attachment requires kills. You start of with a modern AK and an M4 which might as well be the same gun. I suck with these kind of weapons and the weapons and the recoil model is such that you can't exactly spray like you can in Battlefield either. The game also features long range maps almost entirely and doesn't let you get a scope until 25 kills meaning that I had to get really lucky and just continuously die in firefights because I had literally no chance of fighting because I can't see anything.
Had to refund because I'm not putting up with that bullshit which is a shame because the core could be fun if I didn't have to put in the second job of going into the artificial grind.
