This is a post that talks about the project that brings a lot of my characters together. Also, the picture isn't related but I forgot about it and it's too good not to share.
Team Name: Research - Reading Rainbow [R-RR]
Purpose: To research the ability to record the details that are held within magiscripted items in a format that can utilized by non-scryers.
Team Lead: Lolo De Puzlo
Team Sponsor: Sgt. Tobias Moon
Findings:
Team R-RR has been able to record the magiscripted details of some items via the following method
- Allow the Relic in their possession to analyze the item and to research locations where the magiscripting took place
- Relic provides information to the Main Scryer
- Volunteers are brought in to be hypnotized and put into a trance.
- A Hypnotist hypnotizes the volunteers. An Animancer is on standby monitoring the health of the volunteers.
- The Main Scryer places the volunteers into a deeper trance. The Recorder then uses their systems to tap into the vision of the Volunteers that is possible through an output of magic brought on by the Main Scryer
- The Main Scryer projects the scying they are doing to the Volunteers and they may travel the area that is being scribed to them in a "non-physical" form or a "physical" one.
- When the scrying is complete, a digital record is made of the scrying by the Recorder
It has been noted from the Relic that there seems to be outside forces at play that help with the construction of the worlds that the scrying sessions take place in. Possible crossing into The Planar Divide?
