Since a good friend of mine works on a co-op shooter and just from what I've experienced with other friend groups, I've been experiencing several co-op shooters/games over the past few years. I find it fascinating how many different games handle different aspects of the game from progression, to mission selection, to how easy it is to pick up and play to how you can hop in.
I kinda want to do a breakdown of what I feel about each game.
Here's the list of what I was thinking of covering in no particular order
- Risk of Rain 2
- Warhammer: Vermintide
- Phasmophobia
- Gunfire Reborn
- Lethal Company
- PAYDAY 3
- Aliens: Fireteam Elite
- Earth Defense Force 5
- Deep Rock Galactic
- GTFO (at least early impressions)
- SWAT 4
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Strange Brigade
- PowerWash Simulator
- Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades (via H3MP)
- Remnant II
- and probably a few I've forgotten
I kinda want to put together a little review of all these and which ones feel the best.
