I've never been one to have that connectionto sona species with folkloreish archetypes like foxes are all tricksters or that dragons and squirrels are all hoarders.
There's always been something in the back of my mind that links that kind of behavior (which I want to preface that anyone who plays up into that is doing this but its where my brain goes) to how people stereotype certain human groups.
It's part of the reason I'm not a huge fan of Zootopia and Beastars on top of other reasons. I think this also came from the fact that I came from the Sonic side of things into furry where I can't remember if animal characteristics really came into play there.
