Now that it's not goblin hours I can post this. It was quite a lot of work and I'm honestly kinda relieved it's done.
Patches are all custom, sound samples are taken from Black Knight 2000. I actually started the song out by copying BK2000's tempo and opening chord progression, but then went entirely off in my own direction. I think it sounds pretty distinct while serving as an homage to my favorite pinball track.
This might be my last original composition with DefleMask, I'm pushing its limits pretty hard and running into bugs. The video output is nice, the ability to compile to a ROM is cool, but it's really hard to rearrange tracks and drag selections around. I go way back with ModPlug Tracker, so OpenMPT is incredibly natural to me. Got to learn my way around VSTs but I'm making progress. SoundCanvas VA is great and I'm looking forward to digging into Dexed.
