I want a phone sized low latency wireless display for my computer.

I want a tablet sized low latency wireless display for my computer.

I want my computer to be a third the size of a laptop now that it doesn't have a screen.

this is impossible for corporations, because you can charge people more for whole entire new computers to match the specs of your one machine.

Instead, they will do what they did with the iPad Pro: sell you all this compute and then tell you you can't use it until someone decides to let you.

That is the best description of modern locked-down, walled garden computing I've ever seen

Metroid Other M era of personal computing. The computer is right there but you have to wait for some older white dude to give you authorization to use its full power.

Wanna know something really frustrating? The main limiting factor on how high quality a video can be taken on a camera is the cameras ability to quickly compress and write huge amounts of data. The raw image data of say, a 4k camera is about a gigabyte a second.

So high quality video cameras have to have very fast encoding computers built into them. This computer is the biggest driver of cost in these cameras. These are computers you spent thousands of dollars on, that you aren't allowed to use for anything other than recording video.
