I wrote a draft about the FUCKING PRONOUNS discourse back when that was relevant and opted not to post it because I thought about it a little and... Really didn't think it was worth giving more airtime than necessary, but seeing as Pronoun Discourse is just A Thing now for a specific subset of self-proclaimed gamer, I might as well rewrite the general sentiment of that old post in brief.

I wish I had dictator powers in a few of the discord servers I'm in just so I can preemptively boot anyone that thinks the pronouns section is for funni gamer jokes
I can think of a better solution that doesn't involve the risk of becoming a Discord moderator but inciting threats is a crime so I shan't say it.
Honestly it's a great self flagging tool, like making your server name have unicode fonts or only speaking in memes
