Where does this tweet say that? Is there other context I'm missing? Feel like maybe you're making the wrong assumption about what "TLS" refers to here since he's saying it's only needed for devices running older versions of Android.
TLS is timeline service, Timeline is the chronological feed, Home is the algorithmically curated one
considering that the plans are to boost twitter blue subscribers over "free/bot" users, removing chronological feed would be something musk would be interested in.
Moreso considering he is claiming it computes it ten times faster.
If the TLS meant Transport Layer Security that would have been another case of lol musk does not know shit but considering the rest of that tweet, the idea of killing chronological order seems like something he would like to do.
I know what the timeline is. Do you have inside knowledge that TLS is the sole service backing the chronological feed or are you just assuming that?
Assuming, and since the post talks about the speed of processing, as well as the whole thing with Twitter blue being meant to be boosted over free users is what I'm reading into the message
