oh wow rechosting a post from the main page returns you roughly to the same page you were before clicking on the chost you want to rechost
This is really really good usability, I was actually ready to just switch pages and check my AD but it returned me to the original context where I was checking things, instead of breaking that flow.
I am actually really happy about this. Though it was in a way also kind of an intention to just reset back to start rather than continuing browsing posts, normally I would just have opened it in a new tab
but BUT this is good. This is literally the opposite to what twitter does, of losing your place, of breaking it because "it is too old, return to start, the post you wanted to react to is now gone forever"
that being said if there is a detail from the post on twitter, it has very good search, which is also why I really really really do not understand why musk thinks the search is broken.
No seriously, thank you staff, this functionality rocks and is fantastic and honestly I can see it being a godsend for mobile experience (but right now chosting from desktop myself so)
