so one of my friends gave me their login info for their epic store account specifically so i could play alan wake 2 because we're both big fans of the original
(i haven't bought the second one mainly because i don't wanna buy anything on the epic store. i don't have a like, real reason not to do this beyond the fact that i just think tim sweeny is kind of a dick and don't wanna give him money)
and frankly despite the epic store being worse than steam in basically every way i gotta hand it to them it does have advantages, mainly the fact that it's worse in every way including it's drm, so it doesn't seem to care if we're both playing a game at the same time lol
also the entire herald of darkness segment might be my favourite thing in any video game i've ever played. like, what the fuck this is amazing
