well, my phone got stolen and i am PISSED THE HECK OFF. trying to figure out how to log into line on my old phone without losing all my message history this is the worst. And ughhhh its gunna cost me a bundle i hate thiiiiiiis
EDIT: well looks like line isnt able to restore messages from the backup for whatever reason, thats what...10 years of chat logs gone. lol. lamo. sigh
I’m very sorry to hear that. Beyond your chat logs, I hope your email and various other accounts are safe.
It’s very easy to lock down stolen phones almost instantly- to the point where stealing them seems like a total waste of time sigh.
Is one phone an iphone and the other an android? That's the big instance I'm aware of when LINE refuses to transfer
Both iPhones. I can see it in the backup history, but the app just refused to load it and then nukes my history. Lol rip me I guess.
I also just found out that my photo app hasn’t backed up any photos since October, so double heck me I guess! Also i can’t get into my bank account until I get an actual physical letter in the mail next week with a authentication code on it. This sucks!
