Which is the big ass nerd/comic shop, there’s a branch in dublin but I forgot just how much bigger the one in London is. I looked at maybe 1/3rd of the manga shelves and already had a pile of 15 books, I had to cut the trip short like fucking hell o could have spent a billion quid if I finished browsing all of it. What I learn? It’s dangerous. I should visit mum more often heh.

i've been to that forbidden planet !!! i'd always go there on any london trips when i was younger and got adventure time merch

it's very much Not My Kinda Place now but there's a branch near where i'm currently living and it's got way more unexpected specific game merch in the basement and i appreciate that

I dunno about the London market these days, I just went to where I used to go when I lived here, but in dublin forbidden planet has the biggest selection. Hodges Figgis (Which is the oldest bookstore in dublin, but owned by Waterstones now) has an okay selection but it’s like, 3rd biggest. My favourite place is Sub City Comics, it’s got the 2nd biggest selection in dublin and it’s not the cheapest but it usually has the more interesting selection, you have a higher chance of finding something weird there. Chapters bookstore similarly seems to vary weirder stuff, but has a tiny weenie small selection and you can skip it most of the time. Anyways that’s my review of the dublin manga scene- you didn’t ask for it but you got it anyways
