I don't think they have a cohost presence, and I've only seen one post about this here, so I'd like to spread the word a bit. The developers behind Neos VR (Frooxius and some of the people that actually did good work) have started a new project, this time from the ground up with a full team including UI designers (and WITHOUT the guy that was pushing the crypto shit). Unformatted thoughts under the break.

They just announced that early access opens on October 6th! Sooner than I expected

I hope that they're also considering making it an open protocol and not just another platform you have to be tied to. I'd love to see a world where the VR client is just the equivalent of a "web browser" and that you can have any number of compatible client and server implementations all speaking a common protocol!

I've been lucky enough to get an advance look at it and wow. wow. Resonite delivers on the promise of a fully immersive space that can be used for work and play- I watched people put together avatars and props collaboratively, within the program, and it reminded me of how folks would build with prims fully within Second Life, often while others were over to spectate and comment.

But with Resonite it's even better, because you can see and touch all the same UI controls others are interacting with! I couldn't find a certain option in my menu, had someone else physically point at it, and that was my "holy shit" moment. The physicality of it is far beyond anything I've seen before.
