Not as big as The Witcher 2 iirc? Their store listing comes with the warning "hey your filesystem might not be able to handle our single gigantic-ass asset file. Sorry, we could not put it into two files for reasons.".
Real "game shipped with the internal code name as the .exe filename" energy, kind of love that
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was known internally as DXNG, which stood for Deus Ex Next Generation. (Gen 8 of consoles) Still the stupidest codename in my career.
Guild Wars 1 was one of the most technically impressive MMOs I ever played, you would literally run the client app and it would stream the whole game into one big fucken file as you went, including some LoD type stuff IIRC so you could just go and play the game immediately. GW2 had some similar tricks, not quite as extreme because most people had broadband and so forth by that point
compare this to EverQuest 1, where crafting is a dialog tree built into an NPC and - god, do I remember right that you had to type in the words to navigate that tree? if not it was about as janky. the fact that WoW didn't feel like playing a raw XML file was such an incredible innovation in 2003
I seem to recall the main "WAD" file for soul reaver was called BIGFILE.DAT
