Homestuck may have made this world, but that show's over, so now we're taking a brief peek at the world Homestuck made--today we begin our followup Let's Play of UNDERTALE in which Michael tries to guide CMRN through some mysterious ruins.

Meanwhile, the Bonus Episode train keeps rolling, and if you head to the Patreon you can catch our thoughts on Grant Morrison's ANIMAL MAN, which is 1) really good, and 2) sets the stakes for comics metanarrative in ways Homestuck follows up on (??) many years later.

A panel from Animal Man in which the character of Animal Man looks up from the page and states he can see the reader.

I read Animal Man in preparation for this bonus episode (which I still need to listen to), and yeah, I could definitely see some Homestuck parallels, but mostly it had me thinking about how it was so obviously a direct inspiration for one of my favorite superhero comics, The Unbelievable Gwenpool (the follow-up book Gwenpool Strikes Back even name-drops Grant Morrison while doing its own author-character interaction)
