ngl it feels like i'm gaming the system by being able to stack so many modifiers on some rolls, especially charisma xD
I’m not sure what’s funnier: the fact that I had a check this hard and still managed to get a result that feels like overkill, or the part where there’s a very conspicuous absence from all of those modifiers—a Charisma bonus (my Tav is a 10 CHA rogue)
Fun fact: I max-rolled the d6 and d4 here, and while I only hit 19 on the d20, if I had rolled a 20 then the final result would have just been “20—Critical Success” instead of 42, so this was actually the highest total I could have possibly rolled. (I did technically save-scum this roll once, but only1 because I misclicked and didn’t apply Guidance the first time)
