Bought Fantasia on sale so I can try out some different looks and currently have my character as a lalafel, so I dressed her up as Cirno (from Touhou) as best as I could to atleast go around in costume somewhere.
More Cirno being powerful. This started because I am trying different looks while waiting to see what Hrothgal is like. Lalafel is a good break. I enjoy how rarely the size differences between characters break things in the game. There's a whole bunch of cutscenes where characters have to interact with tiny characters all the way through extra tall ones and the cutscenes very very rarely look awkward because of it. Some mounts don't scale, usually because other characters can join you in them, and so you can have this tiny lalafel just standing up in the drivers seat, barely reaching the controls and driving around a giant car or mech or something. It's fun. Might fantasia again soon.
This was the game that helped me understand King's Field's whole everything, even though as you can see in the article I literally died in a very stupid way within seconds of starting the game XD
This game's also great for fans of classic dungeon crawlers (Dungeon Master/Eye of the Beholder, etc.) as it's got the same focused location/"everything here is going to kill you" atmosphere :D
