After letting it stew for a little bit I think I can come to the conclusion that I ultimately liked it okay. It was a little bit short, took me maybe 3 hours after getting distracted by the new map meta lol. The story this time around was interesting, not really where I expected them to go but welcome considering the conclusion to the story thus far that End of Dragons was. It seems pretty polarising so far but... It's hard to take the reddit seriously. Nobody hates the game quite as much as they do, haha.

Their new content release ideas have yet to be proven but we're allegedly getting a new expansion this summer? So not very long to wait if that proves to be true.

The story was definitely low cost but honestly I can excuse a side episode from time to time, that already happened with Siren's Landing.

And actually? The map ended up being cool and all. Now that it is complete, I really like that you have a full 1 hour of just exploration after you beat the meta. The added adventures were nice, especially the time trial jumping puzzle!

There are plenty of things that were disappointing with these 2 patches, but on the long term, I think this will be a good 5th map to the expansion. Now, they just have to actually deliver with the next big thing...

Yea definitely. It was very much a filler episode and sometimes that's okay. I really like the map aesthetically, and the meta is fine. I feel like it reminds me a bit of Drizzlewood in terms of reward structure and stuff.

Definitely just in "wait n' see" mode now with the new content. If the Summer 2023 release ends up being true, I guess we won't have to wait long huh lol
