It's kinda been cathartic and also a bit sad. On the one hand, that website is responsible for a lot of turmoil in my life. The death threats, the stalkers, the old RP drama... Just the constant barrage of hate and toxicity I was subject to there. People debating over my right to exist. It gets a bit much.
On the other, it's been an incalculably valuable tool for organising my friends, keeping up with stuff, tracking whenever the next ridiculous "unprecedented" storm rolls through Omaha and knocks out my power again for the next 2 days.
Like there's a lot of good that's come out of that place but I can't help but feel that this is probably for the best in the long term.
In any case, the popcorn is pretty tasty while it lasts lol
