I wasn't initially super hyped about the housing system being added after 12 years of people asking for it, outside of like. Yea I get it it's a feature we should have. But seeing the preview PC Gamer put out, it looks so cool. It seems like they're taking notes from Wildstar's system which is absolutely what they should be doing haha. Looking forward to the inevitable full blog post about it, but early impressions I'm excited.

That was so wild. ArenaNet was over here saying they'd never do anything as hard as Harvest Temple CM again and then out of nowhere they drop Temple of Febe CM which takes over 9 days to complete for the literal best players in the game haha.
Happy they finally got it, as at least now we know it is possible. I think this weird, like, CM+ thing that they're doing to keep players that want this kind of challenge happy is a good compromise. I hope they do it more going forward.
So now that the expansion has been out around 2 weeks, I thought I might jot down some early thoughts of mine regarding it. I'll keep it as spoiler free as possible, but know that there may be minor things below the break.
