Now there's actually something resembling an intro in the game. Still not fully where I want it (I want the Bird to sit on top of the coffin and peck at the lid), but it's pretty nice already.
Also this is kind of a combination of two ideas for game intros I had in my head for over four years now, so that's also kind nice to finally have a place to use those.
