It Might Just Come True is a short hack of Fiasco that I've been working on for a few months. It's my first ever attempt at writing a ttrpg, so I truly have no idea how well I've done, but it was an incredibly fun challenge and I'm really pleased with the results.
The core hook is that you set your character up with wishes, and then in play you create scenes where those wishes come into conflict with a group goal. I don't know if it will work for anyone else, but there is something intensely appealing to me about setting characters up in that position where they have to make a decision about what's most important to them, and then just watching them squirm.
I also found myself thinking about how you could tweak the parameters of the game to be really explicit about the tone you want, and I'm quite pleased with how I exposed that in the rules. Maybe it will come across as obvious or banal, but for now I'm quite happy with it.
