but I can really recommend klicking through your Steam Discovery Queue so many times, that Steam starts showing you almost exclusively games that have less than 50 user reviews.
Not only do you find something interesting every once in a while, it's also a nice way to remind yourself that most games on Steam are not made by teams with high budgets and the time to polish things into oblivion.
I wish Steam would make it easier for you to actually seek out lesser known games on its platform, but I'm pretty sure the moment they would do that, people would start shouting about "quality control" again.
