Adding more stuff to Virtue's Heaven meant that I also had to work on the Rivalfights a bit more. I think I mentioned this here Months ago, but Virtue's Heaven will have you fight one specific person over and over again and one important part here for me was that these fights evolve over time. The first few encounters, your Rival will just have a basic combo, but later on (as you can see in that gif), he'll get a few counters to your moves (one is actually reading your input in a way) and he actually gets kind of tough. The goal in the end is for him to be an equal Match to the player in terms of movement abilities and to make him incredibly annoying, but still satisfying to fight against.
