there's a gamedev discord i'm in that has a 'weekly question' and this week's is about 'what made you want to get into gamedev' and so many people have these really interesting and deep and ambitious answers and I'm over here like
"I did some 3d art at community college and I won some state award (the competition was NOT fierce) and after that it was like well I guess I'm good-ish at this and I'm not smart enough for programming so VAST SHRUG GOES TO ART SCHOOL
(ironically half my job is programming now)
