Animation Lead on Wanderstop! She/Her & Transgenderrific! Past: Radial Games, Gaslamp Games

Lunar: Eternal Blue is really neat so far. It's wild playing something that's so outside of my knowledge sphere as someone who grew up with Nintendo consoles. A 90s jrpg with heavy voice acting and complex, in-engine animated cutscenes? What an ambitious game. Even having played Silver Star Story Complete on playstation years after these released, this really stands out as its own form of presentation and a creation of a space and time I've rarely gotten a glimpse of. Really neat experience.

Crests are basically the remake's replacement for magic XP. Instead of letting you spend resources on upgrading characters' innate magic spells, it has items that you equip to give characters new spells.

And equipping two of the same crest gives you more powerful like, fire magic. Or equipping two complimentary types gives a third new type.

It's like a proto-Golden-Sun-Djinn system, except there's only two slots
