You are driving home with a bag of takeout food. You're forced to make a hard stop and the bag flies onto the floor, expelling a single french fry onto the dirty passenger floor mat. In your panic to retreive the bag, the nasty fry somehow escapes back into the bag. You caught a maybe half-second glimpse of half of the fry.
Explain how you use your detective skills to detect and excise the offending fry when you get home
there are only two options here for me and neither is what you want.
option one: do not eat the contaminated fries and be forever sad about your wasted meal
option two: eat the fries with great stress and worry about potential food poisoning for the following couple days

I believe there is a third option here, and that is to eat the fries without any regret, willfully disregarding the memory of what transpired in the car less than an hour before. I myself cannot commit to this because I am human and not a rat, but I truly believe this option exists.
It would need to be liquid nasty for me to lose a fry over such trivial contamination.
And I don't see myself ordering food with liquid nasty around.
I eat fries that have been in my kids mouth, no way i'm not eating an escaped baggler.
