there is one exception to this rule. Very Berry Strawberry. The miracle power of cream and fruit unifies all types of ice cream - you could pair it with genuinely anything I think and it'd be absolutely fine. Strawberry is just powerful like that

Back when I worked at a cold stone creamery, we discovered that a 2:1 mix of the peanut butter ice cream with raspberry sorbet was the right mix. Add in a bit of graham cracker pie crust and fresh berries and you've reached dessert perfection.
