Part way through my last game's development I got my hands on a really easy to use Unity plugin that just let you select from a palette of prefabs and click to place them into a scene. It was such a gamechanger with decorating/populating levels that one of the first things I did in Godot was learn plugin scripting immediately so I could port it over
