Animation Lead on Wanderstop! She/Her & Transgenderrific! Past: Radial Games, Gaslamp Games

Because why NOT write this at midnight???

  • Bombe: I'm kinda obsessed with this minesweeper+programming puzzler but I think I may be hitting burnout after 70 or so hours. Which is like 1/4 of the way into the game. I'll come back to it soon tho I bet.
  • Leaf's Odyssey: It's a DRODlike! Those are SO rare. Difficulty level is through the roof, but that's to be expected from a game inspired by a classic 90s puzzle game.
  • Helle's Undersea City Project - Bringing Air To The Garden - a tiny doujin game with literally zero english reviews. A very minimalist citybuilder clearly meant to be a one-and-done experience. Pretty cute tho!
  • Super Robot Wars 30: I got so into this I started watching mobile suit gundam. As usual for this franchise it's way too much game but we'll see how long i stick with it. GA GA GA GAGAGA GAOGAIGAR
  • Void Stranger: Zandra insisted I play this. It's pretty neat but I think I absolutely would have ragequit and never looked back without zandra's guidance. It's that kinda game. The puzzles are fun and it's pretty intriguing tho.
  • Isles of Sea and Sky: I went into this with substantial IGF foreknowledge and blasted through the first 3/4 of the game as a result. Now that I'm hitting puzzles I'm less familiar with it's much harder. Still enjoying it a lot.
  • Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart: It was finally on deep enough discount on steam for me to pick it up. It's very AAA, very clasically very expensive timewaster. I don't play much like this anymore but I guess sometimes it's nice to have one in my library for when I want game junkfood. Also Rivet's design is excellent.
  • Hades 2: I picked it up on day 1 and played it so much it told me to stop playing twice. So I did. It's fun! It's very hades.
  • Touhou Genso Wanderer: FORESIGHT: Huge disappointment. Takes everything that made Genso Wanderer Reloaded a great roguelike and throws it out the window. Doesn't even have fun ideas like Lotus Labyrinth did. Why the FUCK would you make a roguelike with persistent leveling up?? Grindy and actively works against what makes the genre good. What a missed opportunity.
  • Anodyne 2: Return to Dust: I started playing this finally only to get distracted by 800 other games. RIP
  • Another Code Remake (Game 2): I started this ages ago but progress is very slow because I barely ever pull out my switch right now. That said, it's wild to see an adventure-game-ass adventure game get a full remake like this. Never would have expected it.

in reply to @MOOMANiBE's post:

it's so neat to see a DRODlike out in the wild. i been keeping an eye on Addlemoth's development and im super excited to see that one come to fruition. Leaf's Odyssey looks mighty cute and i gotta give it a shot when i can.

I'd love more details how Hades II tells you to stop playing. Not many games do that, so I'm curious if it was subtle (just "This is all of the Early Access content we got") or explicit. ("You have played a lot, player!")

Also, Anodyne 2 is 100% worth returning to. It shouldn't take too long, and the story is one that means a lot to me personally.
